FYI all - Gay Marriage Rights in Australia will be holding a rally at 1pm on August 1st at Queens Park.

Also the Senate has launched an inquiry into marriage equality in response to the Marriage Equality Amendment Bill 2009 moved last week by Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young.
In 2004, an inquiry into the Howard Government’s ban on same-sex marriage received more submissions than any other Senate inquiry in history; 13,000 against same-sex marriage and 3000 in favour. Please join me in ensuring that the balance of submissions to the 2009 inquiry more accurately reflects majority community support for equality.
Your submissions need not be wordy or even eloquent. Just put your views down on a word document and upload it to get your views heard. You can submit anonymously if you wish.
You can make a submission and have it heard by The Powers That Be by clicking this link. It only takes a couple of minutes but can change the lives of many and help make Australia more inclusive.

Could I ask a favour of my friends list? Since you can't answer immediately I'm going to presume that silence means a yes. ;]
I just entered a travel photo competition and I would really love you to take a look at my images from Vietnam. I'm an amateur photographer in every sense of the word, but I think these images capture something special.
- The first is Sunset on a Junk - we were on a boat traversing the amazing waters of Nha Trang when the sun burnt through the smog.
- Second is Hanoi History of War Museum - it's an image of a bomb, encased in concrete. It's at the base of a monument that was built in memory of the war built from all manner of American weaponry including parts from aeroplanes.
- Thirdly [and lastly] is Woman Washing in Hai Phong. I loved the floating markets we sailed past. I was amazed at this woman who never lifted her head from her domestic tasks.

My company is looking for promotional models to work on the 30th August at Riverfest from 3-7pm. They will be paying $18-odd-dollars per hour, and the task would involve handing out fliers to festival goers. You will be provided with cap and shirt.

I'm pimping some of my EBay clothes auctions. All are starting at .99c with low Buy It Now prices set. Look HERE.
All items sizes 6-8. Selling as I'm moving and need the cash. All are BRAND NEW never been worn without tags. I'm a stickler when I get items home, I always rip off the tags. :P
